Android App Stop Charging At 80. Hey everyone to prolong battery life I would like a tool program way to have my laptop stop charging when the battery is at 80 or more of its capacity. One hit on the CD button to start the power ON and after 120 its OFF again which will be at about 80 charge.
Every time you charge your device it wears out the battery lowering its total capacity. Lvt Android Expert. The reasoning is that batteries last slightly longer when stored at 80 than when stored at 100.
Yesterday I had this dreadful Plugged in not charging issue and I temporarily fixed it.
Battery University even found that when you regularly charge your battery to only 70 percent you can still get more than 1000 cycles from it. For years Ive used an app that will make a noise when 80 is reached for my phonestablet but the thing is I have to then unplug it myself occasionally Im not there and it charges to 100. Some older models find it hard to support new OS version. Is there an app to prevent my battery from charging above 80.
